The Water's Edge Care Center is a Medicare certified, skilled nursing facility licensed by the State of Wisconsin. It is connected to Hayward Area Memorial Hospital and medical clinics.

The new 50 room Care Center has small private suites consisting of a bedroom, sitting area and private bath that will afford each resident the privacy one can find only at home. Dining areas, visiting spaces, an exercise room, a bathing spa, and four landscaped courtyards complete the Center.  A chapel, beauty/barber shop and a "coffee cafe" complete the complex

Group and individual activities including social, religious, recreational and educational programs are offered. Computers and internet access are available. In addition, Hayward area clergy hold regular religious services in the care center and make individual visits on request.

Registered nurses, licensed practical nurses and certified nursing assistants provide care 24-hours a day. Residents can receive physical, occupational, speech or respiratory therapy services in the building. A 24-hour physician staffed emergency room is located in the hospital should a medical emergency occur.

                  Assisted Living Facility is Open!

Construction of the 20 unit catered living facility is compete and tenants are enjoying the benefits of this beautiful assisted living complex. Applications are being taken for one or two bedroom apartments. A full kitchen with dining space, living room, full bath, large closets and washers/dryers, complete each apartment. Each unit has either a balcony or a patio depending on whether the apartment is on the first or second floor. 

A common great room with a large fireplace, dining area, comfortable seating and wet bar provides space for larger gatherings of friends and family.

A spa, exercise room, chapel, beauty/barber shop and a "coffee cafe" are all included in the complex.  

A limited number of garages are available in addition to outside parking space.
