Hayward Area Memorial Hospital rehabilitation services can help those who may need not be able to cope with daily living activities due to aging, illness or injury. Our therapists and therapy aides have extensive training and the ability to help people function at the highest level possible. Most programs require a physician's order for treatment.

Energy Program--A Registered Nurse monitors a low-cost exercise program for those with heart conditions,asthma and a variety of other medical problems. Call 934-4502 for more information   Occupational Therapy--We have two Occupational Therapists and a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who focus on the restoration or development of a person's occupational performance in the areas of self-care,productivity, and leisure. Call 934-4234 for more information.   Physical Therapy--Hayward Area Memorial has six Physical Therapists and two Phsical Therapy aides who help  people achieve their highest level of physical body function.
